QA / QC Welding Inspector
DESCRIPTION
The Welding inspector is responsible for inspecting and assessing the quality
and strength of welding work. Their job is to ensure welds are safe and ready to function as part of
the device or structure. Welding inspectors also inspect the equipment used and ensure welders adhere to company and state safety regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Two (2) years industrial/technical College Diploma plus a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant inspection experience.
- Holds a valid international certification as a welding inspector in AWS or CSWIP
- Working knowledge of quality system standards and methods
- A good knowledge of applicable international standards
- Driving license is must
- Experience working in Middle East will be an added advantage
- Must pass CBT Test as may be required.
