QA/QC INSTRUMENTATION INSPECTOR
DESCRIPTION
The Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technician would be responsible for the
examination of structures, vehicles, and products for flaws and structural weaknesses
using non destructive testing techniques. He/she would conduct material tests, interpret
the results, and generate reports on their findings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Two (2) years industrial/technical College Diploma plus a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant inspection experience
- Resume reflected a working knowledge/experience of standards such as ISA RP 12.6, ISA RP12.2, ANSI MC96.1, IEEE 518, IEEE 1100. IEC 60529, NEMA ICS 6, NEMA 250, NFPA 70, IEC and UL 94.
- Working knowledge of instrumentation inspection such as loop checking, wiring continuityand color coding, start up, and troubleshooting as well as knowledge of materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous location identification for oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
- Working knowledge of quality system standards and methods
- Experience working in Middle East will be an added advantage
- Must pass CBT Test as may be required.
